Development Review Committee (DRC)
The Development Review Committee (DRC), established pursuant to Code of Ordinances Section 108-61, shall review all applications for vacation of public easements and rights-of-way.
Historic Architectural Review Commission (HARC)
The Historic Architectural Review Commission (otherwise known as HARC) was created by the City Charter and oversees the preservation and conservation of the character, integrity, and appearance of the historic preservation districts, as well as for buildings individually listed in the National Register of Historic Places and buildings listed as contributing in the Historic Structure Survey of the City.
Key West Bight Management District Board
The Key West Bight Management District Board oversees the Historic Seaport at Key West Bight. The City Commission finds that the management, preservation and redevelopment of the Key West Bight property owned by the City is a public purpose and further finds that the public purpose can be best achieved by the creation of the Key West Bight Management District Board having the power and duty to oversee the management, preservation and development of the City's property at Key West Bight for the best interest of the City and its citizens.
Key West Sculpture Garden Memorial Committee
The City of Key West established the Sculpture Garden Memorial by passage of Resolution 95-468 and also established the criteria for inclusion into the Memorial Sculpture Garden by passage of 95-469.
Naval Properties Local Redevelopment Authority
The Naval Properties Local Redevelopment Authority shall conduct public workshops and utilize other media to ensure the greatest public participation in the preparation of the redevelopment plan.
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
The mission of the Board shall be to promote the rehabilitation, conservation, development and best use of parks and recreation land and facilities within the jurisdiction of the City of Key West.
The City of Key West Planning Board hears a spectrum of important public planning issues, ranging from specific development approval requests to changes to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations.
Sustainability Advisory Board
This board was created to promote sustainability in the community.
The City Commission created the Tree Commission to protect and monitor the trees on private and publicly-owned property within the City of Key West.
