The City of Key West has a mass notification solution powered by CivicReady. This solution is intended to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, road closures, king tide flooding, and evacuations, that may have significant impacts on residents. This list is not meant to be all-inclusive, and demonstrates that this system will not be used for routine non-emergency information.
This service is available to our citizens to receive emergency notification alerts via text message, email, pager, or voice mail (in extreme cases), based on your preference. You can customize your notification preferences when you sign up. In addition to receiving information on your mobile device, you may also receive a notification on your landline (if you have one), depending on the nature of the incident or event.
