Public Information Office

The City of Key West is committed to keeping residents, businesses, and visitors informed through a proactive communications system. By partnering with the news media, the City ensures quick and effective dissemination of policies and activities to the community. To uphold transparency and foster connectivity, the Public Information Officer collaborates with the City Commission, Police and Fire Departments, the Information Technology Department, City staff, residents, businesses, policymakers, and the media.  Together, they create and share accessible communications that connect people to the information that matters most.  Focus areas include:
