Community Rating System (CRS)

City of Key West's current rating:  Class 7

When you renew your Flood Insurance Policy, please check for your "Community Rating Number" stated on your policy (#102168).  Should your policy indicate something other than the status/grade above and your property is within the Key West city limits, please call your insurance agent in order to correct the error.

If your renewal date is after October 1, 2016, check the "CRS Discount" line near the bottom. If you're not seeing a discount amount, you should contact your flood insurance agent.

If your renewal date or payment date was prior to Oct. 1, 2016, this discount won't applly. Even if your effective date is after Oct. 1, it won't apply.

The Community Rating System (CRS) is a program managed by the Insurance Services Office (ISO) for the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).  Eligible communities are awarded community-wide discounts to their flood insurance premiums for exceeding the basic provisions of NFIP participation, designed to further prevent future damages from flood events.
