Chief Brandenburg called him “professional and compassionate in dealing with each crisis intervention he encounters.”
“Detective Medina also plays a vital role on the Department’s crisis negotiation team.
When he is not solving crimes or intervening in human crises, Detective Medina loves to travel. He travels all over the world and was especially happy to take his new wife to Japan to see the cherry blossoms in bloom.”
Medina is multilingual, speaking Spanish and German as well as English.
Throughout his tenure, Detective Medina has been found to exemplify the core values of the department: Respect, Integrity, Fairness and Service.
