A US Coast Guard Veteran with 34 years of marina management and municipal experience managing marinas on the West Coast of Florida and the Florida Keys, David started his marina career after serving as the Dockmaster in the USCG at Tampa Yacht and Country Club.
He then moved on to permitting, developing, and managing high-and-dry facilities in Hudson, Treasure Island, and Islamorada, Florida.
He served as the Director of Central Services and Public Works for the City of Madeira Beach which included the City Marina, Sanitation Department, Stormwater Department, Streets Department, Parking Enforcement, Recreation Programs, and oversight of all capital projects including a new City Hall, recreation center, ball fields, parks, John’s Pass Boardwalk, new ships-store, docks, fueling infrastructure and numerous street and stormwater projects that will serve the community for years to come.
