Improvements to the Clinton Square Pocket Park are slated to begin on Monday, July 1st, weather permitting.
The City Commission held a groundbreaking ceremony earlier this month at Square, located in front of the Custom House. The work will revitalize and enhance this historic hub of culture and commerce.
This is a congested area and will become more so as the construction company mobilizes for 
the project. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route in the area if at all possible.
The contractors will not be working on Thursday, July 4th.
