The Key West City Commission enacted City Ordinance Section 2-939(f) on January 7, 2022, allowing café style seating on the City's right of way.
On March 3, 2022, the City management and staff met and are moving forward with implementing the new Ordinance starting on March 7, 2022. The plan is to have a 30-day educational/application period, which will be followed by enforcement of the Ordinance. As always, the City's goal is to achieve voluntary compliance.
