The Key West Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a guest house in Old Town at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The house and surrounding structures were evacuated out of an abundance of caution, and the fire was quelled quickly.
There were no injuries. The fire occurred in a vacation rental complex called Olivia on Center, located at 820 Center Street.
“We are still investigating the cause of the fire,” said Fire Chief Alan Averette. “We’ll be working with the state inspector to determine what happened.”
