The Key West Police Department Property and Evidence section is responsible for care, custody and control of all physical property and evidence submitted to their section. This includes hundreds of items which have been lost or retrieved by owners.

 

  
 
 
 
 
 
 
Property Archiving
 
If you wish to retrieve your property that is being held by the Key West Police Department please read the following guidelines:

-We ask that you call ahead (you will need your case number) to confirm that we have your property and that it is available for release. 

-Photo identification.
 
-In some cases other documentation may be required.
 
-You may have someone else pick up your property with a notarized letter stating so. The person picking up your property will need identification.
-Proof of ownership
