1. What is yard waste?

Yard waste is organic or material from gardens such as leaves, grass, plants, palm fronds, branches, and hedge trimmings.

2. How do I get a yard waste bin?

You can use any personal trash cans designated for only yard waste.  There are "Yard Waste Only" labels available at City Hall. 

3. Should I put yard waste in plastic bags?

No.  Yard Waste must be in a can, paper bag, or tied in small bundles with twine less than 40 lbs.

4. How many yard waste cans are allowed before a fee is imposed?

Ten (10) cans of yard waste.
