The City of Key West Utilities Department is hosting an information session to share with the public the result of a composting pilot project that could benefit the community.The meeting will be Thursday, August 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 1300 White St.Residents are urged to come and discover the benefits of biosolids and yard waste composting facilities for the entire community. You'll hear about the results of the pilot project as well as the history of composting biosolids in Florida and around the nation.
