Final Mile Bike Facilities

The "Final Mile" project seeks to install bicycle, pedestrian, and bus rider amenities at high-use bus stops and public areas along the Lower Keys Shuttle bus route.  These amenities address the "final mile" or "last mile" barrier for those who would otherwise use public transportation.

Locations

74 sites from Key West through Marathon are slated to get improvements.  Ridership data along the Lower Keys Shuttle was analyzed to prioritize improvements along the route.  Some public parks and buildings were included. (Full project plans can be downloaded here.)
