Events Venue/Permit Guidelines

  • Key West plays host to a wide variety and a great many events that have become an important part of the community's tourist economy. A growing number of these events depend on the facilities made available by the City of Key West and the essential support services only a municipality can provide. By making these facilities and services available to organizers at reasonable cost, the City supports the successful staging of events without placing an undue financial burden on public resources or diminishing the level of services the municipality is requires to provide to residents, businesses and visitors.
  • Important Information 

    Starting January 1, 2021, the Special Events Division will no longer accept cash or personal checks for event and film permits. The only form of payment accepted will be Money Orders and Cashier's Checks. Thank you.
