The City of Key West Department of Transportation provides public transit services throughout Key West, Stock Island, the Lower Keys, and Marathon, Florida.  We have five routes.  The earliest route begins operation at 5:40 AMand the last route is 10:00 PM.  Our fleet consists of 20 handicap-accessible buses that accommodate 24 or 32 passengers.

Our drivers' primary concern is the safety of the passengers and others who share our island roadways.  They are committed to delivering a timely product and customer service.

Days of Operation

The City of Key West Department of Transportation operates seven days per week except on the following days:

  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day

To provide a safe, dependable, and timely mode of travel through a public transportation system in the City of Key West and adjoining communities and business areas for visitors and residents of the City of Key West, Florida.

The bus stop on College Road & US1 has been moved slightly closer to the hospital for public safety.
