Building Department
The City of Key West Building Department consists of four divisions: Permitting, Plan Review, Inspections, and Floodplain Management. All divisions are committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of our community.

The City of Key West Code Compliance Department is committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of our community. We continually strive to provide fair and equitable services to our citizens and visitors.

Community Services
The Community Services Department is responsible for the areas of Public Works, Recreation, Facilities Maintenance, the Historical Cemetery and Fleet Services.

Cruise Ships / Marine Services
There have been some exciting changes to the City's approach to managing our waterfront. The concept of these changes called for the consolidation of City waterfront responsibilities. This includes the deep-water port activities of Cruise Ships and of Navy vessel activity coordination.

Finance/Budget Department
The Finance Department is committed to the City's financial integrity, providing efficient and courteous assistance in all financial matters and effectively communicating the results of these efforts to the management and citizens of the City of Key West.

Historic Seaport/Marinas
Key West Bight Marina is nestled in the middle of the City of Key West's Seaport properties located in the Historic District. The Key West Bight is a twenty-acre facility that has become a major destination for those wishing to experience the ways of the old waterfront of Key West.

Human Resources
The City of Key West Human Resources Office promotes the recruitment, development and retention of highly motivated, well qualified individuals to provide efficient, effective and courteous service to the citizens of Key West.

Key West City Television (KWCTV)
Key West City TV can be viewed on Key West Comcast channel 77, AT&T Uverse channel 99 or on the City website.

Key West Department of Transportation (KWDoT)
The City of Key West Department of Transportation (KWDoT) provides many services to the community, visitors, and city staff.

Licensing Division
A City of Key West Business Tax Receipt is required for anyone holding themselves out to be engaged in business in the City of Key West.

Parking Department
Violations must be paid within 10 calendar days or an additional late charge of $5 will be assessed. After 20 days, an additional late charge of $5 will be assessed - total late fee of $10 per ticket.

Maintaining and improving the fabric of the City is one of the Planning Department's most important tasks.

Police Department
Welcome to the Southernmost Police Department in the continental United States. The Key West Police Department is a state accredited organization made up of dedicated and professional men and women.

Utilities Department
The General Services (Utilities) Department includes the following Divisions: Waste Water, Storm Water and Solid Waste, including the management of the City's Solid Waste and Hauling Contracts with Waste Management, Inc.
